Between 1966 and ’69, Nessim made a series of distinctive watercolour, pen and ink drawings of women. They each have an evocative caption and explore ‘aspects of the female social mask’. Weekend in Woodstock was created for her friend the graphic designer Milton Glaser, who produced the iconic poster of Bob Dylan that can be seen in Room 73.
