The Women's Skull Motif "Ajrak" jacket is cut as a classic western jacket. The skull motif, first introduced by Alexander McQueen, has been popular in men and women's fashion in Europe and America for several years. Ajrak is a form of block-printing characterised by geometric designs usually in dark blue and red tones, printed using vegetable dyes, and is found in parts of Rajasthan, Sind, Kutch, the Punjab and Pakistan. The jacket is made from digitally printed fabric which imitates ajrak and represents a very contemporary twist on a traditional technique.
