Actor's collar of red woollen cloth, embroidered with coloured silks and gold thread. The collar forms part of a circle with serrated edges; part of the ground is cut away, creating an impression of lace; and the remainder edged with gold trim. The decoration consists of flower and fruit forms; but on the back of the collar is embroidered a lady sitting in a boat playing a string instrument (the pipa); the boat is propelled by a man , and in front of it flies a bird.
