Content description
This pamphlet describes the successes of Sekers from Spring and Summer 1952 to Autumn and Winter 1953. It illustrates examples of designs by members of the Incorporated Society of London Fashion Designers and some models from Paris Couture collections which were made from Sekers fabrics. It promotes recent developments with Nylon and mixtures of synthetic and natural fibres. Fabric samples are included throughout, including, on the first page, a piece of 'Duchesse Dogana', a satin in the same colour chosen by Mrs Sekers for her Dior 'Zemire' ensemble, made up in a Sekers synthetic silk (T.24:1-5-2007).
