The Public Against Violence logo incorporates the national colours of Czechoslovakia, as does that of its Czech counterpart, Civic Forum. The 'V' design is a powerful graphic expression of the reason for its existence, as it symbolises not only the violence and bloodshed which triggered its foundation but also the people's determination for victory over their communist oppressors.
