"Duncombe's's Miniature Caricature Magazine N° 12" is printed above the design.
The print is of Richard III and the scene pictured is Act IV scene V. In the print, Richard III says "Strike up the drum; play Paddy Carey Or any thing that's brisk and airy; Scare these wild swine hence! beat! Beat, I say."
One of the woman dressed in black says " Though I have cause to say much more I've only power to say, encore." The other woman says " Bad luck attend you to the battle; Rough Musick in your ears for ever rattle".
