Puppet of a fisherboy for the show The Feast of Lanterns. This puppet is part of a fine set designed by Elizabeth Waghorn and carved by Beverley Coleclough and Nicola Howard-Jones. The Feast of Lanterns, written and directed by Richard Gill, toured widely for Polka in 1968-1969 and was one of the first plays to mix actors and puppets. The figures are carved in Jelutong.

Physical description
Head, neck, hands and arms in Jelutong wood, carved and painted. Applied hair and eyes. Legs made of stuffed white fabric. Shoes in brown leather with velveteen soles. Wearing vest and sleeve in orange fabric, with patches sewn on vest.
