Production | Antigua in Guatemala was formerly Santiago, a city situated near three volcanoes. A massive eruption and earthquake on 29 July 1773 prompted the relocation of the city and its renaming. The city 'hallmarks' used on Santiago/Antigua silver show two mountain peaks topped by a rearing horse. |
