Screenprinted poster depicting the figure of a guardsman riding a horse, viewed from the front, the figures made up of flat areas of colour. The guardsman is dressed in black, with red and gold details, and a white plume on his hat, his face in half in shadow. The horse's head, the only part of the animal depicted, is brown, and it wears a black bridal. The whole image is set against a green background, and in the lower right corner is a cannon, seen from the side, its wheel opaque black, its gun shaded, in a much smaller scale. In the upper right corner is the poster's title, 'The King's Troop'.
