The crown of the head is displaced, and the space forms a map of the world, with the northern hemisphere coloured white, and the southern hemisphere (except for most of Australia) coloured red. The image is set against a white background, and above is the message, 'help LEPRA fight Leprosy: 20 million people suffer today'. To the right of the image, in the lower section of the poster is the charity's address, 'LEPRA, British Leprosy Relief Association, 50 Fitzroy Street, London W1P A1'. All lettering is printed in black ink, except for the word 'Leprosy', in the main heading, which is printed in red.
