Hanging of tapestry woven (kesi) in silks and gold thread. Bound with white cotton, backed with dark blue cotton and attached to wooden rods at each end.
At the top is a panel depicting a Chinese lady carrying two peaches, against a pale green ground, possibly one of the attendants of Si Wang Mu, the Fairy Queen of the Taoist Mythology. Below is a band of dragon scroll ornament. In the centre is a panel depicting a Buddhist deity with an acolyte below standing on a cloud, on an orange-coloured ground. This panel has a border of floral and leafy scrolls on a buff ground. Below is a band of dragon scroll ornament. The bottom panel depicts a landscape against a dark blue background. In the foreground a man with a lute strung behind his back is leading a horse on which rides a Chinese lady wearing a hat with two long feathers.
