This is a fashion design showing a woman wearing a sheepskin coat, described on the design as a 'sheepskin, finger-tip length coat', by Marjorie Field for the haute couture firm of Field Rhoades which was registered in the London street directories at 77, South Audley Street, London, W1 for the years 1948 to 1949. A small design displays the back of the coat. The woman is depicted wearing a skirt, fur boots, mittens, and a headscarf. The design is inscribed with instructions on how to make the sleeves of the sheepskin coat. The initials in the bottom right corner are those of Marjorie Field Rhoades which was her married name after 1945.
