COSTUME DESIGN FOR A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

Maria Bjornson’s design for Theseus’s Court is a working drawing which includes notes about jacket length and boot style. It incorporates a reference image, used as the inspiration for the characters’ Victorian dress. In this production the roles of Theseus and Hippolyta were doubled with Oberon and Titania, hence the need for the quick changes mentioned in the notes.
