WARP: brown wool; Z2S; 15 threads per inch (56 per dm).

WEFT: dark brown wool; Z-spun; unplied, 2 parallel threads per inch; 2 shoots after each row of knots; 9 knots per inch (35 per dm)

PILE: wool; 9 colours:: red , light red, yellow, light yellow (only at the beginning), dark green (in lower part), green, blue, dark brown, white; asymmetrical knot open to the right and tied around 2 threads; 67 knots per sq. inch (980 per sq. dm).

SIDE FINISH: 2 cords loosely oversewn with black goat hair

END FINISH: Lower: 7.5 cms. plain weave with red weft and with three narrow bands of blue weft in the centre and a 10 cms. plaited fringe of 12 warp threads each plait. Upper: as lower, but the fringe is 9 cms. long.

DESIGN: Field: red ground with 3 and two half vertical rows each with 7 and a half blue hexagons. Each hexagon contains an inner light red hexagon resting on a triangular base; this is surrounded by 7 tiny florets and 2 pendant florets hang from it. Close to one side of each blue hexagon is a second blue hexagon containing a white pentagon within an inner red hexagon. This has the florets of its neighbour but with a third pendant in place of the triangular base. In the space between the pairs of main motifs, in rows of eight, is the design within the main hexagon but rising in alternating blue and green, each containing a yellow pentagon with a vertical slit.

Main border: green ground (dark green in the lower part) with large octagons of red and light red. The former have a small white centre, the latter are forked on two sides and contain a three-pronged lattice in either white with a blue centre or in red with a white centre.

Outer border: reciprocal stepped triangles in light red and dark brown.
