At the centre of each gul is a red rectangle in a white diamond within a red and blue quartered rectangle that extends in trefoils and a bar into the quarters of pink and white. The blue of the rectangle extends in a fine line horizontally and vertically to form an all over grid. Offset between the guls on a fine brown and white vertical lines is a secondary motif of a blunt hooked cross in blue within a pink stepped lozenge.

Main border: red ground with alternate pink and white octagons each containing a rosette and surrounded by small blue triangles and, on the side borders, abutting each other but along the upper and lower borders divided by a line of diagonal blocks of colour which elsewhere form the guard stripes.

Inner and outer borders: a row of stylised flowers and 2 half rows, all composed of coloured blocks. Along both sides the outermost guard stripe is continued to the end.

Lower and upper band: a red ground with closely-drawn lattice of toothed lines in blue, white and pink; each lozenge created by these lines contains 4 tiny white florets. Above and below this panel is a narrow border of diagonal blocks of colour.
