Large rectangular palampore (wall-hanging or bed-cover) of painted and dyed cotton chintz. The design is of a branched, bamboo-like tree with flowers rising from a large rocky mound at the base. There is a wide border on all four sides with designs of bamboos and flowering plants. Backed with cotton and with brass rings. Selvages at the sides.
