This popular poster is a child's chart used in the eight days before the Festival of Diwali. Depicting a variety of Hindu deities and mythological subjects, there is a colourful representation of the Goddess Lakshmi in the central composition and the elephant god Ganesh in the lower right hand side. Additional motifs include the sun, moon, four children playing and a woman spinning.
