Physical description
A popular poster depicting Lakshmi on a lotus throne in an enclosed torana. This is a photographic representation of a bronze sculture. She is seated with the right foot on a lotus. She has four arms of which the two rear are carrying a lotus. The front right hand is in varada ( charity) mudra and the left in abhaya (protection)mudra. She is shown wearing a crown (kirtimukuta) and ornaments round her neck, arms and legs. There is red halo round her face on a black blackground.
