Half mask to be worn on the forehead for an unknown production at the Unity Theatre. Possibly made by Barbara Niven, painter and partner of the designer Ern Brooks, mid 20th century.
Physical description
Half mask to fit above the eyes and across the forhead and top of head. It has been made to cover the eyebrows with bulging lumps at the forehead. Constructed from moulded papier-mâché and painted in pinks, browns and yellows with thick eyebrows painted in black.
