14-page home-made magazine entitled 'The North West Magazine', cover image depicts a scene from 'The Pirates of Pizarro', a story that features inside, the image shows two pirates involved in a sword fight on a beach, behind them there is a ship sailing close to the shore. Other stories featured in the magazine include: 'World Spotlight', 'Rip Van Winkle's Daily Diary', 'Jack Randall in Africa', 'The Rio Kid Starts a Gang', and 'Africa Calling'. The back page is entitled 'Micellaneous[sic] Page'. Many of the stories and articles are illustrated with hand-drawn pictures. Pages are bound by thread on the left hand side.
