Hand-knitted wool, mohair and cotton
Jacket trimmed with leather and lined with satin.
The jacket has wide, padded shoulders, zippered side pockets and an integral leather jerkin front beneath the knitted outer layer. The riotous colours and exuberant design illustrate the liveliness of the 1980s hand-knitting revival. A 'Brights' ensemble was purchased for the actress Joan Collins to wear in the TV series 'Dynasty'
