The copper body has an applied silver rim and base plate with the jungin mark. The matt black ground is decorated with a single silver yusen orchid in subtle and sensuous (particularly the interior of the flower) shades of pink and white with yellow highlights. The lily's leaves are faintly depicted in the background using silver shosen. The counter-enamel is a glossy black. The base carries the silver yusen mark of the Ando Company.
