This 18th-century print is from a set entitled Arabesques, designed by Jean Dèmosthëne Dugourc. Dugourc designed a wide variety of objects in his ornate style, including furniture, vases and interiors. He worked for the French court, including for Marie-Antoinette, as well as for Catherine II of Russia and Gustav III of Sweden. This print shows his characteristic style, light yet abundant, with nymphs, grotesques, putti and flowers.
