Physical description

Poster, paper with printed design in coloured ink. The poster is divided by yellow lines forming a grid of 20 squares. The grid overlays a montage of images relating to the Iran-Iraq war. The main image is a black and white photo of Iranian soldiers in a trench, one helmeted soldier is standing half out of the trench pointing a gun. Other squares show: Khomeini, a ruined mosque, a group of military volunteers clapping, crowds with flags, a man with a headband holding a child with a woman in a chador, a group of young girls in red headbands holding pots and 3 soldiers holding another soldier on stretcher who is giving the "V" victory sign with his fingers. In the bottom left square is an image of red poppies overlaid with the symbol of Sipah-i Pasdaran-i Inqilab-i Islami (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps).
