Physical description

Sketchbook containing landscape drawings and studies of trees in pen and ink and pencil, including one view of a house (44 verso) which has been shaded in Indian ink, one view of a farm (42 verso) which has been tinted with watercolour and numerous studies of antique vases, masks, sculpture and skulls. There are 49 leaves in total with two inserted (nos. 39 and 47). Many others have, at some stage, been cut out.
