Physical description
Volume containing compositional sketches and views of London in pencil, including Blackheath, Chelsea Bridge, Deptford, Greenwich, Hampstead, Hyde Park, Sydenham, Westminster, Islington Road and Lambeth. There are other drawings probably executed and emended by Richard Wilson, Farington's teacher. There are 30 leaves in the volume and others that have, at some point, been removed.
Inscribed with artist's name, date, number of Sketchbook (1) and the address of Richard Wilson's studio in Covent Garden.
