Physical description

Design, digital print on paper for 'Woodshed' project, with visualisation of a shed made from trapezoid 'bents' surrounded by tree trunks in the Porter Gallery at the V&A above; then five diagrams in trapezoid shapes showing London Parks, number of 'tree thinnings' in 0.2 acres, three thinnings making one 'bent', fifty bents making one bent and the cost of one shed, £45; at bottom, fourteen diagrams in two rows showing process of making with: (top row) forest, thin the forest, mill trees on sawmill, cut joints with chainsaw, burn treat exterior of wood, assemble of bents, drill holes for rods; (bottom row) deliver to museum, raise the bents and brace, install tensions, tighten tensions, party, demount and assemble in forest; all superimposed on a floorplan of the Porter Gallery at the V&A (Room 48).
