Ribbon sample, woven and embroidered. A central band (3.6 cm wide) of cotton gauze or sprang banded with a dark green silk satin selvedge border edged with gold metal thread, and holding counterchange triangular shapes in yellow, crimson, red and blue. The main central bands hold a series of large padded lozenge forms spaced 2.2 cm apart. These are stylised leaf forms in gold, yellow and pale blue silk with touches of dark green, crimson and bronze, all edged in white silk. 2 selvedges.
