Great Britain and Belgium. Studies (on 8 leaves from a sketchbook) of medieval buildings, and furnishings in Ghent, Antwerp, Sutton-in-the-Isle and March, also of coastal scenes.

These studies probably date from 1850. According to Pugin's diary in 1850 he visited Cambridge on 4 April, Ghent on 18 May and Antwerp on 2 June.
