Physical description

Studies (on 10 leaves from a sketchbook) of architectural details from medieval ecclesiastical buildings, including churches at Whittlesea, Peterborough, Cullompton, a page of noted on current work at Alton and Maynooth, and a sketch from a boat.

Object history note

According to Pugin's diary in 1845 he visited Peterborough on 8 April. He was in Alton 14 to 15 April, at Cullompton on 16 May and went to Ireland on 20 May.
