Inscribed ' Lubeck / Pictures in Maria Kirk screen' and with colour notes. Signed and dated in monogram 'AW Pugin / 1850'.
Object history
There is much painted mural decoration in this church, but Pugin notes the work 'screen' at one side of his drawing, and so perhaps this is a painting on wood.
