Performance category: rock and pop. The Bootleg Beatles are still the best Beatles sound-alike group. They take their business seriously and are even acceptable to those who truly love only the original. The recorder, incidentally, recorded 'Hey Jude' with the Bootleg Beatles in Abbey Road Studio 2. The recorder's husband, incidentally, recognised the enormous talent of the Bootleg Beatles in the early 1980's and strongly supported them in his role as public arts officer. Tickets were GBP2.00.
