Brief description | Pair of silver-gilt filigree earrings, hung with coral and filigree beads, Greece, 1860-1870. |
Physical description | Pair of silver-gilt filigree earrings shaped like a gourd, with four coral, and four filigree, bead pendants hanging from the lower edge. There are four filigree struts between the top and bottom halves. The wire is missing. At the top, where the wire should be, there is a short pendant of three coral beads, which may originally have been hung from a loop in the centre of the base. |
