Marlowe's Doctor Faustus was directed by Michael Benthall; Peter Potter directed King John and Colin Graham directed Twelfth Night. This poster was part of a bequest to the museum by Michael Annals who designed Doctor Faustus.

Forthcoming productions of The Oresteia of Aeschylus by the Oxford Playhouse Company and Mourning becomes Electra by the Old Vic Company are announced lower right in a similar typeface.
