This card was designed by artist and art historian Nick Wadley and sent from the artist and his partner Jasia Reichardt to their friends Sir John and Lady Ritblat who subsequently donated it to the Museum. On a simple flat card in postcard format, Wadley illustrates the passing year and the coming one respectively as a full and a blank page in the sketchbook of life.

A6 size single rectangular (landscape format) sheet of white card with printed colour illustration on the front depicting a pencil and an open book with the left hand page headed 2007 and filled with drawings while the right hand page headed 2008 is blank. Signature within the illustration. Handwritten greeting on the back in black ink.
