Figure of a sailor, a companion figure to a girl, of white porcelain stands on a circular mound which is supported by pierced scrollwork. The sailor is steeping forward with a hand out-stretched on which are three coins. He carries a whip in his right hand. He is wearing striped trousers which end below the knee, a waistcoat and double-breasted jacket, all the details of which are gilded.
