This screenprint, by the London-based design group Insect, is an example of contemporary graphic art, bordering on the surreal. It has echoes of the gothic, with touches of psychedelia. The dream-like visual language is typical of Insect, who also work in illustration, branding and advertising.

Physical description

A print showing a male character as a silhouette dressed in black, with hat, jacket, trousers and belt. The background is of green and pink imagery, with some black silhouettes of horses, a woman in Victorian dress and the outline of another figure.
