A caption below the image records an exhange between the pair: 'Maheureux! qu-oses-tu proposer a ton Père?' (Brisart/Le Marquis) and 'Vous allez m'arrancher Rosalie; achevez. Prenez aussi ma vie elle me désespère' (Mr Molé/Darvaine)

The lithographer is not named but all the lithographs appear to have been published by Robert Sayer, London (1772).

One of a bound collection of lithographs of French Dramatic Characters, published by Robert Sayer, London, 1772. This shows Mr. Molé as Le Marquis in Le Dissipateur. Harry Beard Collection.
Physical description
Printed in the centre of the page this full length lithograph shows two men, both dressed in the three quarter length jackets, and knee breeches fashionable in the mid to late eighteenth century. They are facing one another and the man on the left is responding to the bow of his companion with a dismissive thrust of his outstretched hand.
