Suit

ca. 1930 (made)
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

This suit was made by the department store, Harrods. Boys' short trousers, as we understand them, developed from about the 1870s. This suit, which appears not to have been worn, may have been thought too childish by its wearer who by the size of the suit was fairly old or was large for his age and would probably have preferred a more grown up suit.
