Standing figure of Buddha made of bronze with gilding. Produced during the 16th century in Bangkok, Thailand. This figure was previously assigned to the 18th-century.
Physical description
Standing Buddha dressed in monk's robes with a tiered headdress. His right hand is raised in a gesture of reassurance (abhayamudra), with his left hand resting by his side. The figure's legs and feet are not shown; the sculpture finishes at the hem of the robe.
