Morgen Hall has recently investigated ways of applying modern technology to her ceramic practice. The surface pattern on this jar is derived from actual cooked spaghetti placed on a scanner, the resulting image being used to produce stencils with the aid of a plotter-cutter.

Tin-glazed red earthenware spaghetti jar of elongated barrel-shaped form. Thrown and turned, resist-decorated in blue and white using computer-cut stencils based on actual cooked spaghetti; rutile glaze stain. With lid.
