William Henry West Betty (1791-1874). Chalk and coloured pencil drawing by Samuel de Wilde (1748-1832).
Physical description
Head and shoulders portrait of Master Betty in chalk pencil. his cheeks, lips eyes and ears are coloured with pale peach colour. Drawing is glued to a paper mount. Signed in pencil above the left shoulder De Wilde and dated Jan 13 18.. (croppped).
