Painted watercolour drawing of Isadora Duncan reclining by Edward Gordon Craig. Annotated in ink on upper right corner 'Highlight on trees transparent'. Upper edge of work stuck to centre fold of folded paper cover. External surface of cover dark green with repeat print floral pattern in black. Inside beige; surface has inscription in ink on label (4 x 7.5 cm) 'A very happy birthday to Arnold Rood - from Ellen' surrounded by free-hand decoration. Beneath label is inscribed in ink 'by E.G.C. between 1901 & 06. Isadora Duncan'.
