A detailed pen and ink sketch drawn on the back of what appears to be a poster. It shows a view described as 'Hyde Park, 1890' with tree lined avenues, horse drawn carriages and a statue at the centre.

It was drawn by Robert Caney in preparation for a production entitled A Million of Money. Caney was a designer active in the late nineteenth century whose work included designs for a production of Robinson Crusoe at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, in 1894.

Pencil sketch by Robert Caney of the top of a turret, with a loggia. Possibly associated with his designs for The Sleeping Beauty and the Beast Theatre Royal Drury Lane, 26 December 1900. Pencil on tracing paper.
Physical description
A very slight sketch of the top of a tower with possibly a winding staircase with a loggia and a weather vane. On yellowing tracing paper cut out to an irregular shape and mounted on card.
