Bronze head of the choreographer, Sir Frederick Ashton, OM. The sculptor, Austin Bennett, trained as a dancer and was a member of the Royal Ballet until 1965 In Ashton's eightieth year he sculpted two busts which were made available in editions of six copies. One is in the National Portrait Gallery another at Sadler's Wells.
