Plate 8, Mlle Vestris, in 'Fragments dans l'Opèra de société'. She is wearing in a full, layered skirt, decorated with scalloped hems, trimmed with yellow frills and garlands of pink flowers. A band of yellow and white stripe fabric descends from her delicate headdress of pink flowers, spiralling down over her shoulder. Her yellow and white upper sleeves are decorated with bands of pink flowers and finish at the elbow to expose the tight white sleeves beneath. Harry Beard Collection.
