Physical description

The Flagellation; After Michelangelo; Print on paper; Early unfinished trial plate, an undescribed copy of DYCE.1293, reversed, with variations, the men having rods in their hands raised in the air and the composition no background, excepting the base of the column; and only a few of the squares of the pavement are indicated.
