This is primarily white and gathered with a dark belt at his chest, the only decoration is a motif of foliage at the hem and a gold border at the neckline, sleeve end. He wears a plain band of material around his hair and pale blue and brown slippers on his feet.
The caption below the image indicates that the performance took place at the King's Theatre. Harry Beard Collection.
