A bright hand coloured print of a scene from the ballet 'The Good Humoured Ladies' inscribed Elthelbert White. The scenery visible in the background of the image is of a street or city square surrounded by angular buildings in a variety of sizes and styles. The figures visible in the foreground appear to be fighting, indeed one man is attempting to hit another over the head with a chair. The majority of the men and women are dressed in eighteenth century inspired costume, though two cloaked and masked figures are visible in the centre and a another on the far right is dressed in a long brown cloak and a feathered cap.
