Monochrome silk lampas with pattern woven (on a tabby ground) in <i>lancé</i> and brocading wefts. Both pattern wefts are bound in tabby by the supplementary, binding warp. Lampases like this one (with the white ground and the prevailingly white pattern - with only some details brocaded) are also known by their historical term diasper.
